We are a team of entrepreneurs who recognised the value of joining the SEC Global partnership to give perspective and impetus to the development of our companies, the growth of our staff, and range and quality of our service to clients. Each member of the SEC team continues to manage his or her agency locally, whilst participating in the Group’s governance and growth internationally.

TOM PARKER(Cambre, Chairman)

Tom Parker(Cambre, Chairman)

Tom is President of Cambre Associates and Chief Sales Officer (CSO) at SEC. He launched award-winning Cambre in 2010, and spearheaded it becoming one of Brussels’ leading Public Affairs and Public Relations agencies. In his role as SEC CSO, he works with the SEC Management Committee to establish SEC as a challenger to the communication agency establishment.

Tom has over 20 years of experience advising clients large and small in advocacy and reputation management. He pioneered the concept “advocacy 3.0” and has worked across a broad range of sectors for clients including IKEA, the Kingdom of Morocco, Electrolux, Emirates Airline, GSK and Silicones Europe. Tom is President of the British Chamber of Commerce Belgium and European Union and its spokesperson on Brexit. He has a degree in Environmental Chemistry and a Postgraduate diploma in Law from Nottingham Law School. He regularly provides commentary on lobbying and EU affairs and loves rugby and music.

Fiorenzo Tagliabue(SEC)

Fiorenzo Tagliabue founded SEC Group in 1989 and is actively involved in the company’s day to day operations and strategic management, serving as Executive Chairman of the group. Fiorenzo played a key role in building SEC Group into the largest Italian PR firm in terms of revenue and in expanding the group’s footprint internationally. In addition to his role as Executive Chairman, he personally oversees the lobbying and public affairs division, based in Milan and Rome. After gaining a degree in philosophy, Mr Tagliabue worked as a journalist and was co-founder of the weekly publication “il Sabato” which he edited until 1987.

Prior to founding SEC, Mr Tagliabue served as Managing Director of NEI Spa, the company that edits the daily newspaper Avvenire (1983-1989) and as general secretary of the Vatican Television Centre (1986-1989). Mr Tagliabue holds numerous teaching posts in the area of communication. He was on the Board of Directors of the Fondazione Teatro alla Scala of Milan for 10 years, and is a member of the Boards of Fondazione Banco Alimentare onlus and IUAV (Istituto Universitario Architettura Venezia), one of the nation’s most important architecture departments, based in Venice.

Victoria Main(Cambre)

Victoria is a policy communications expert with an international mindset and a far-reaching network  in Brussels and beyond. She launched Cambre’s thriving technology practice as well as the award-winning Brussels Calling debates with leading journalists covering the EU. She supports corporates, governments and trade associations across a range of sectors.

Previously head of global media relations at Nokia, Victoria brought to Cambre her extensive international experience both in communications and journalism. She has also been head of media for a large networked agency in Brussels.

Victoria began her career as a journalist, most recently with Reuters in London, but also in Brussels, Hong Kong, Milan, Paris and Wellington. She holds French and New Zealand nationality.

F. Javier de Mendizábal(ACH Cambre)

Javier was appointed Chief Executive Officer of ACH in September 2017, with the task of building out the SEC Group’s presence on the Spanish market. He has 35 years of experience in the field of communications. He started his career at Tapsa and after 4 years he becomes executive director and client director in Equipo Tres, the second agency of Tapsa Group in Spain. In 1993 he carried out a management buy-out becoming shareholder and CEO. After leading the company for 10 years, in 2003 he sold it to TBWA (Omnicom Group). One year later, in 2004 he was appointed general manager for institutional relations, public affairs and corporate communications of Acciona. Member of the Management Committee, he was also the spokesperson of the Group. In 2007 he founded a new company, Mendizabal Consulting, which focused on strategical PR, public affairs and corporate and financial communications, providing high quality consultancy to the top managment of organisations including, Acciona, Prosegur, Iberia, British Airways, BMW, Seat, Bankinter, Barclays Bank, Hyundai, Bergé, Nationale-Nederlanden, Avis, KBLepb and many Public Institutions.

Javier regularly provides comment on economic, financial and political news for Radio y Tv Intereconomia and writes a weekly political and economic blog for the digital magazine VozPopuli. He holds a degree in law at University San Pablo CEU and an MBA at the Instituto de Impresa (IE Business school).

Peter Rall(Kohl PR)

Peter is Managing Director of Kohl PR & Partner. After studying political science and German literature in Frankfurt/Main, he worked as a political correspondent for the international news agency Reuters and the German magazine Stern. As Reuters news editor for Germany, he was in charge of the agency´s planning and news production in Germany and coordinating the agency´s international news desks. His experience in “selling” news to media has become a cornerstone of Kohl PR´s communication strategies. Peter Rall joined Kohl PR in 2003 as Managing Partner. He coaches top executives in improving their communication and media skills.

Mark Glover(Newington)

Mark founded Newington in 2006 and has overseen its growth into the dynamic and award-winning consultancy that it is today. He splits his time between Newington’s London and Edinburgh offices – offering strategic counsel to board directors across a range of sectors at a local, devolved and national government level. Mark has been actively involved in politics since 1985 – as a councillor for twelve years, which included serving as the Chair of the Labour Group in Southwark (2002-2014), London and sitting on the Federal Executive of the Liberal Democrats in the early 1990s. A regular public speaker, Mark also sits on the Independent Advisory Group of the Marston Group, is on the Court of the Company of PR Practitioners in the City of London, was a Founding Director of the Reformer magazine, supports charity UK Youth and is a regular industry awards judge.

Phil Briscoe(Newington)

Phil co-founded Newington in 2006 and since then has spearheaded its growth in the planning and development sector, and on local and devolved levels. During this time, Phil and the Newington team have worked in more than 90% of local planning authorities across the UK and has delivered a 95%+ success rate in securing planning consents. Phil has worked in politics and communications for almost 30 years, advising international companies such as Qatari Diar, Far East Consortium, Wheelabrator and AES alongside UK sector leaders such as Barratt Development Plc, Legal and General, RES and British Land. He has worked across all sectors of planning, development and infrastructure, and has advised public sector bodies such as local authorities, and public-private partnerships alongside private sector clients. He previously served as a Conservative councillor in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets and has been a candidate for the Greater London Assembly. Phil is a member of Catalyst UK and sits on the UKTI Professional and Business Services Trade and Investment Advisory Group. Dariusz Jarosz(Martis CONSULTING)

Dariusz is CEO of Martis CONSULTING since February 2007. Prior to this he was CEO of PARKIET Media, the publisher of Gazeta Giełdy PARKIET which is a leading Polish stock market daily. Previously he was Head of Marketing and Sales of Gazeta PARKIET, Deputy Editor in Chief (1999 – 2003) and Board Member (2003 – 2004). Since 1994 he was a professional business journalist, a columnist and also a stock market expert at TVN24. Dariusz is a licensed stockbroker and investment adviser and holds a Chartered Financial Analyst designation. He holds an MBA in journalism and political sciences from University of Warsaw. Ewa Baldyga(Martis CONSULTING)

Ewa is Vice-President of Martis CONSULTING since 2005. From 1999-2005 she worked as a journalist for Gazeta Giełdy “PARKIET”. Ewa has been regularly recognized for her contribution to the profession; awarded with a nomination to E. Kwiatkowski award for outstanding services for the growth of economic relations between Poland and Polish community abroad after 1989, and among 10 finalists of the first edition of Radio PiN i BRE Bank competition: Bizneswoman of 2008. Outside the scope of her professional activities, Ewa Bałdyga is actively involved in education - thanks to her efforts, the first post-graduate studies in Investor Relations and Financial Communication were launched at the Warsaw School of Economics. Managing Partner Claudia has an extensive network in Colombia, where she uses her creativity to generate extraordinary results for clients. Claudia provides SEC Latam with more than twenty years of experience focused on communication strategies, both for the public and private sectors. Before coming to the firm, Claudia held key government positions in communications and finance, as well as leadership positions within the corporate world. She was Minister of Communications during the government of Andrés Pastrana in Colombia (1998-2002) and, simultaneously, she chaired the board of directors of Telecom and the Communications Regulatory Commission of the country. He is responsible for supervising creative work and providing strategic thinking. Rafael brings to SEC Latam the entrepreneurial drive and spirit that pave the way for countless opportunities. He is the founder of several emerging companies, including Demo / Bozell, acquired by the multinational Lowe and Partners. He was also a partner of Beber / Silverstein Americas and founded Dattis Communications, from where he became one of the strategic advisors of the electoral campaign that led to the presidency of Colombia Andrés Pastrana.

Maurizio Maione

Maurizio joined SEC in 2009 as director of the Rome office. In 2014 he was appointed manager supporting SEC SpA’s international expansion. From its inception in September , he serves as secretary of the SEC Global Management Committee. He is also member of the board of directors of ACH Cambre in Spain and SEC and Partners in Rome. In 2018 he was appointed officer supporting the newly centralized commercial role of Chief Sales Officer.

Prior to SEC, he was a board member of Hill&Knowlton Gaia and previously of Gaia Relazioni Pubbliche, the leading environmental communications agency in Italy. He has 12 years experience on CSR, sustainability and community relations issues having advised nearly all energy and chemical players operating in Italy. Maurizio was also part of the Hill & Knowlton Emea sustainability team and member of the crisis communication team of advisers at Emea level.

He has a degree in Political Sciences and MA in Journalism and communications from Luiss University and is fluent in both English and Spanish. He taught environmental and crisis communications at Luiss Business School and Link Campus University from 2004 to 2007.

Eric Giuily(CLAI)

Former student of the National School of Administration, Eric Giuily is a Corporate Communication expert. As President of Publicis Consultant for 8 years, he was in charge of numerous major campaigns such as the pension reform, the health insurance reform, the GDF-SUEZ merger. Auditor at the Conseil d’Etat, the French Supreme Court, former Technical Advisor and Central Administration Director at the Home Secretary of State from 1981 to 1986, with a profound knowledge of national and local administration, Eric Giuily is a public affairs specialist with a large network in administration, ministerial offices, within the Government, the Parliament and local authorities.

Eric created CLAI in 2009. He has a large expertise in strategic communication and in the media field, as well as in public affairs. He also acquired great experience in managing crisis situation. He has run several companies in the transport, information and audiovisual field (CGM-SNCF, Chargeurs Communication, Pathé Cinéma, France 2, Agence France Presse), before becoming in 2001 President of Publicis Consultants, the global corporate communication network of Publicis Group.
