Fiorenzo Tagliabue founded SEC Group in 1989 and continues to be involved in the company’s day to day operations and strategic management, serving as Executive Chairman of the group. Mr Tagliabue has played a key role in building SEC Group into the largest Italian PR firm in terms of revenue and in expanding the group’s foot print internationally. In addition to his role as Executive Chairman, he personally oversees the lobbying and public affairs division, based in Milan and Rome. After gaining a degree in philosophy, Mr Tagliabue worked as a journalist and was co-founder of the weekly publication “il Sabato” which he edited until 1987.

Prior to founding SEC, Mr Tagliabue served as Managing Director of NEI Spa, the company that edits the daily newspaper Avvenire (1983-1989) and as general secretary of the Vatican Television Centre (1986-1989). Mr Tagliabue holds numerous teaching posts in the area of communication, in particular in public communication. Tom Parker launched Cambre in 2011 and spearheaded it, becoming one of Brussels’ leading Public Affairs and Public Relations agencies. F. Javier de Mendizabal Castellanos holds a degree in law at University San Pablo CEU and an MBA at the Instituto de Impresa (IE Business school). He has 35 years of experience in the field of communications. He started his career in Tapsa and after 4 years he becomes executive director and clients director in Equipo Tres, the second agency of Tapsa Group in Spain. In 1993 he carried out a management buy-out becoming shareholder and CEO. After leading the company for 10 years, in 2003 he sold it to TBWA (Omnicom Group).

One year later, in 2004 he was appointed general manager for institutional relations, public affairs and corporate communications of Acciona. Member  of the Management Committee, he was also the spokesperson of the Group.

In 2007 he founded a new company, Mendizabal Consulting, which focused on strategical PR, public affairs and corporate and financial communications, providing high quality consultancy to the first line of management of big companies and groups.

During his career, Javier managed many clients, among them: Acciona, Prosegur, Iberia, British Airways, BMW, Seat, Bankinter, Barclays Bank, Hyundai, Bergé, Nationale-Nederlanden, Avis, KBLepb and many Public Institutions.

He comments economical, financial and political news for Radio y Tv Intereconomia while he writes a weekly political and economical blog for the digital magazine VozPopuli.

Peter Rall(Kohl PR)

Peter Rall, Managing Director of Kohl PR & Partner, has a long experience in working as a journalist. After studying political science and German literature in Frankfurt/Main, he worked as a political correspondent for the international news agency Reuters and the German magazine Stern. As Reuters news editor for Germany, he was in charge of the agency´s entire planning and news production in Germany and coordinating the agency´s international news desks. His experience in “selling” news to media is today a strong target group focus of Kohl PR´s communication strategies. Phil Briscoe(Newington)

Phil co-founded Newington in 2006 and since then has spearheaded its growth in the planning and development sector, and on local and devolved levels. During this time, Phil and the Newington team have worked in more than 90% of local planning authorities across the UK and has delivered a 95%+ success rate in securing planning consents. Phil has worked in politics and communications for almost 30 years, advising international companies such as Qatari Diar, Far East Consortium, Wheelabrator and AES alongside UK sector leaders such as Barratt Development Plc, Legal and General, RES and British Land. He has worked across all sectors of planning, development and infrastructure, and has advised public sector bodies such as local authorities, and public-private partnerships alongside private sector clients.

He previously served as a Conservative councillor in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets and has been a candidate for the Greater London Assembly. Phil is a member of Catalyst UK and sits on the UKTI Professional and Business Services Trade and Investment Advisory Group. Dariusz Jarosz(Martis CONSULTING)

Since February 2007 he is a CEO of Martis CONSULTING. Prior to this he was a CEO of PARKIET Media, the publisher of Gazeta Giełdy PARKIET which is a leading Polish stock market daily. Before he became Head of Marketing and Sales of Gazeta PARKIET and its Board Member (2003 – 2004), he was its Deputy Editor In Chief (1999 – 2003). Since 1994 he was a professional business journalist, a columnist and also a stock market expert at TVN24. Dariusz is a licensed stockbroker and investment adviser and holds a Chartered Financial Analyst designation. He holds an MBA in journalism and political sciences from University of Warsaw. He graduated from Warsaw School of Economics, Market Analysis and Marketing Department. He serves on Supervisory Boards for Martis SA and Boryszew SA and Alchemia SA.


Ewa Baldyga(Martis CONSULTING)

Vice-president of Martis CONSULTING since 2005. Graduate of Warsaw School of Economics, majoring in Management and Marketing, as well as Finance and Banking. In 1999-2005 she worked as a journalist for Gazeta Giełdy “PARKIET”. Awarded with nomination to E. Kwiatkowski award for outstanding services for the growth of economic relations between Poland and Polish community abroad after 1989. Ewa Bałdyga was among 10 finalists of the first edition of Radio PiN i BRE Bank competition: Bizneswoman of 2008.
